Launched in July 2014, the Colorado Impact Fund supports local community involvement through Colorado companies that generate positive social impacts and consistent financial returns. This $63 million private equity fund invests exclusively in Colorado companies and provides a valuable network of strategic business advisors and cost-efficient capital.
“The Colorado Impact Fund is a great program for Colorado,” said Scott Reiman, Hexagon founder and president. “It helps local entrepreneurs grow their companies, as well as build the infrastructure they need to be successful and give back to their local community.”
This innovative program is already having an impact on Colorado businesses that generate both positive economic and social returns.
FourPoint Energy and the Reiman Foundation sponsored the event, featuring Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning’s keynote address, as well as award presentations from John and Linda Lynch and Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock.
Nearly 1,800 students from local school districts were invited by the John Lynch Foundation, allowing them to share in the inspirational stories of their student-athlete peers. The night before the event at Mile High Stadium, the John Lynch Foundation Kick Off Party took place at the Denver Tech Center’s Venice Ristorante. The memorable evening featured entertainment from Matt Mauser, the Frank Sinatra Tribute Band, and raised over $410,000 through a live auction to support many of Colorado’s inspiring student-athletes.
